The Tanya Bonakdar Gallery involved the renovation of an old taxi garage and its conversion to an exhibit space for contemporary photography and sculpture. Because the exhibit space is located on the second floor, an inviting |

transition was designed to entice visitors to enter. Existing skylights were refurbished and structure was exposed, emphasizing the height of the ceilings and the scale of the space.
